Marina Bay is a great area to stay for first time visitors as it’s offers a central location, close to some of Singapore’s most iconic attractions, such as Gardens by the Bay, the ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay Sands. 

The majority of accommodation options in this area cater to the luxury end of the budget scale, so you can expect to spend a bit more on accommodation but hotels generally offer great views of the city skyline and the bay itself.

The area also offers excellent high-end designer shopping, buzzing nightlife, fine dining establishments, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants with a view.
